5 spreadsheets → 1 dashboard. Late-job visibility went from end-of-day to real-time.

The problem

Five overlapping spreadsheets ran the daily dispatch — drivers, jobs, capacity, customer comms, and invoicing. Late jobs only surfaced at end-of-day reconciliation. New ops staff took weeks to ramp.

Our approach

We built a single dispatch dashboard with role-based views for ops, drivers, and customers. Drivers update job status from a phone view; ops sees the board in real time; customers get auto-tracking links.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Tailwind
  • Auth.js
  • WhatsApp Cloud API

We stopped reconciling spreadsheets. The board is the source of truth — drivers update it, customers see it, finance bills off it.
